Your membership not only offers wonderful benefits, but it also helps to foster a strong and vibrant community. Our original 1930 charter states that we exist to “promote the public welfare,” which caused us to shift our mindset in 2016 and operate not as an attraction, but as a community resource. Using servant leadership as a guide, The Mariners’ is committed to promoting engagement to our Museum and Living Collections through access and value, which is all possible because of your support.”

To support environmental sustainability, The Mariners’ now provides digital Membership cards to our supporters. A digital card will be sent to you via email from tmmp@MarinersMuseum.org upon joining or renewal and can be accessed from the Member Portal anytime, which can be saved to your phone or printed. Your digital card lists your name and the names of any additional members associated with your Membership account. You are welcome to share or print a copy of your Membership card with any additional members on your card.

The Mariners’ Museum is excited to introduce its new Member portal, where you can easily renew your membership, access benefits, register for events, and download your digital membership card.

If you are a Member, an account has already been created for you. If this is your first time accessing the portal, please select “Reset Password” and use the email address associated with the primary Member on your account to set your password.

To quickly access your Member discounts for events such as the USS Monitor Legacy Series Lectures, Evening Lectures, and more, you will need to create an account. You can still register for Member events without creating an account by calling our Guest Relations team at (757) 596-2222 or emailing membership@MarinersMuseum.org.

In lieu of paper guest passes, all members can bring up to 2 new guests each time you visit the Museum. Flex Guest Admission is not valid on any other Member discounts or benefits. 

North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Admission

Access to more than 1,000 museums nationwide. The NARM Association boasts an array of top-notch institutional members from arts and history museums to botanical gardens, children’s museums, science centers, and more.

This benefit is included in Family, Premium, Beacon and Explorer levels only.
